CASA DECOR 2022 - EXPOSITION

INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECT AT CASA DECOR 2022.
MANAGEMENT PROJECT.
MADRID, Spain
Project carried out in the most important decoration exhibition of Spain, Casa decor, where I have designed the SALA SIESTA (SIESTA ROOM).
My objective was to create a contemporary space within a rustic envelope, to create a conceptual contrast.
With the roof and the walls covered with clay and jute mesh, this space remind us of a space with different sensations, on the one hand, cold due to gray colors and tones and, on the other hand, cozy thanks to the clay texture effect.
Contemporary lines furnitures has been used on a rought terrazo floor, replacing the warmth of the carpet for the room.
The marble countertop has been custom made. I created a bar with a chess game embedded in the same piece, with a conceptual drawing made by me, and a sink almost imperceptible. On this bar, you can enjoy yourself in many ways, all of them will leave a clear space at the same time. The wood finished faucet falls from the ceiling.
The space also included the display panel of the exhibition, where I created frontal structure shelves that goes from the floor to the top of the ceiling, matching with the curved surface.

As usual, I love the classic touch, so it could not be missing on this project. It is a plaster fireplace covered with the same clay as the wall, in order to blend with the wall, as if it were a part of it.
